Houston couple divorce because of Facebook

Posted on June 25th, 2010 No Comments

A Houston couple recently split due to an inappropriate relationship sustained via Facebook messages. The new bachelor disclosed that his wife went to a highschool reunion and reconnected with an old flame. Months later the husband logged into her account and read the two’s correspondence, which he considered inappropriate.

Divorce attorneys recognize this situation as a new trend among divorcees. According to Scott Morgan, a divorce attorney in Houston, Texas, more than one third of his cases are somehow related to a social networking site. While it is not necessarily the site that is the cause for divorce, it is oftentimes the medium used to create unfaithful relationships.

If you or someone you know is considering filing for divorce, you need the help of an experienced Houston divorce attorney. Contact the law offices of Garg & Associates, P.C., by calling 281-210-0010 today to schedule a free initial consultation.
