Milian divorce made public

Earlier this month, the well-known singer Christina Milian and her husband, The-Dream, reached an undisclosed divorce settlement.

The Chicago-Sun Times reported this week that the settlement was for a lump sum of $4 million and a $5,000 a month stipend for child support for the former couple’s daughter.

“Ms. Milian strongly believes that peaceful resolution is better for their child and that she is very pleased with the settlement and that it was accomplished out of court,” said Milian’s lawyer, Randy Kessler.

The pair split after pictures of The-Dream surfaced in which he was interacting in inappropriate ways with his assistant.

Steve Nash and wife seek divorce

Steve Nash, the well known NBA star, and Alejandira, his wife of five years, have announced that they are seeking a divorce.

The announcement came one day after the birth of their third child, Matteo Nash.

“I am very thankful and excited that we have a new son, Matteo Nash. Alejandra and the baby are doing fine. But this is a bittersweet moment for my wife and I; after five years, we are now in the process of dissolving our marriage,” said Nash in a statement released to the media.

Both Nash and his wife have expressed their commitment to raising their children. They have been living separately for months and both agree that a divorce is their best step forward.

Speidi divorce was a fake, says couple

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, the well-known reality TV stars, admitted recently that their much publicized divorce proceedings were faked.

According to the couple, their divorce was a sham set up because the UK network station ITV was interested in giving them a reality show that would document their split. The two had run out of money following the cancellation of “The Hills,” the MTV reality TV show that made them famous. In the end, the deal never materialized.

Pratt told US Life & Style magazine that “the divorce was real – just the idea behind it was different than most people’s.”
