A prenuptial agreement between actors Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes significantly quickened their divorce process, which Holmes filed just 11 days before the former couple came to a divorce agreement.
When the spouses and their lawyers met earlier this week, money was much less of an issue than that concerning the custody of their six year-old daughter Suri. According to the Los Angeles Times, the prenuptial agreement had already governed how much money Holmes would be receiving.
In the end, Holmes will have primary custody of Suri and will have the final say in how she is educated. Cruise will have visitation rights and both will have a say in how she is religiously raised.
