How long must the non-custodial parent pay child support?
Under normal circumstances, child support continues until the child becomes eighteen years of age or graduates from high school, whichever occurs later. However, it may terminate earlier if the child is emancipated by marriage, removal of the disability of minority law court order, or death of the child. If the child is disabled, support may be ordered to continue indefinitely.
