How are between arbitration and mediation different?
Arbitration usually is binding on the parties and the process is similar to a trial. The parties put on their case in much the same way as in a trial or hearing. The arbitrator’s decision is usually binding on the parties much like a judge’s. Arbitration is also considerable more expensive than mediation. For theses reasons, custody issues seldom end up in arbitration
