If a child less than sixteen years of age enters into a licensed marriage without a court order permitting it, what legal remedies are available?

The court may grant an annulment upon the filing of a petition by the parent, next friend or guardian.  The petition can be filed at any time before the child is sixteen years old.  A suit to annul a marriage of a person sixteen years of age or older that was entered into before the person was sixteen years old is barred unless it is filed before the later of 1. Ninety days after the petitioner knew or should have known of the marriage or ninety days after the date of the underage party’s sixteenth birthday.
