Can the child support be modified after an uncontested divorce?

Regardless of whether the divorce was contested or uncontested, the court may modify a support order if since the rendition of the order, the circumstances of a child or a person affected by the order have materially and substantially changed or three years have passed since the order was rendered or last modified.  The child support award under the order differs by either 20 per cent or $100.00 from the amount that would be awarded under the child support guidelines.
