If my divorce is not yet finalized, can I move my children to another state?

While judges typically recommend against moving children to another state during a divorce, it may be allowable if a separation agreement is in place. If the separation includes provisions that allow for moving the child’s residence, you may be free to do so without causing problems with your divorce case.

The Houston divorce lawyers of Garg & Associates, P.C. are here to help you with any questions you may have about the divorce process. Contact us at 281-210-0010 today.
