Temporary Orders - FAQ's

Faq's

temporary orders, divorce attorneys

How long after the divorce is filed will the temporary orders hearing take place?

This varies depending on the individual court that acquires jurisdiction over the case.  In Montgomery County, most courts require mediation before a temporary orders hearing.  If not, or if the issues are not resolved in mediation, the hearing will take place on or before the date that the temporary restraining order or TRO expires.  The orders entered here will remain in effect until a final decree of divorce is entered unless they are modified before then.
